Adaptiv’Math High School is an innovative resource that integrates the latest advances in cognitive science and artificial intelligence to help you better support your students.

It provides educational resources and tools to create personalized remediation and support pathways in mathematics, consolidating the essential skills for each of your students. It includes adaptive modules containing over 10,000 mathematical exercises, designed by 14 researchers and laboratories with the help of some 40 teachers. Each module (its content and the design choices for digital interactions) is based on research transfer, with reference articles provided.

Adaptiv’Math High School is not a textbook: it does not offer ready-made lessons, nor does it comprehensively cover the curriculum. It focuses solely on areas where documented research and the use of digital tools can provide effective solutions.

Understanding the concepts of proportion and fraction

The module begins by solidifying the concept of fractions between 0 and 1 using proportions. It then explores fractions greater than 1, utilizing non-symbolic representations, decomposition into an integer plus a fraction, and positioning on a number line.

Designed for students, this module applies four research-based principles.

Space and Geometry

In cognitive science, mathematics is seen as a form of heterogeneous reasoning, involving both intuitive skills (e.g., perception and action) and learned expertise requiring cognitive stabilization in new contexts.
